Marcy Holmes Minneapolis Neighborhood Information

Marcy-Holmes is named for two famous 19th century Americans secretary of state William L. Marcy and writer Oliver Wendell Holmes. The Marcy-Holmes district is one of Minneapolis' oldest neighborhoods. Marcy-Holmes in fact, it contains Florence Court, a historic landmark area containing roughly 50 residential structures that set the tone for the neighborhood. The Marcy-Holmes neighborhood is also the location of Dinkytown.
