Its boundaries are Hiawatha Avenue on the east, 54th Street East on the south, 34th Avenue South on the west and Minnehaha Parkway East on the north. Minnehaha gets its name from the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poem, “The Song of Hiawatha.”
