Columbia Park is a neighborhood found in the Northeast Community of Minneapolis. Its borders are 37th Avenue to the north, Central Avenue to the east and 27th Avenue and St. Anthony Boulevard to the south. It is bound on the west by University Avenue NE, 4th Street NE and the Mississippi River. This area was so named for the recreational space called Columbia Park, a local park acquired by Minneapolis 1892, the “Columbian” year.
