Como Minneapolis Real Estate

The neighborhood of Como can be found in Minneapolis on the northeastern side of the city. Como is bound by Winter Street NE, East Hennepin Avenue, Elm Street, Interstate 35W, the Burlington Northern main line and 33rd Avenue SE. The famous Lake Como in St. Paul is nearby and that is where this neighborhood takes its name.

The neighborhood is largely residential, but it does contain some retail stores and the energetic Dinkytown commercial district is a short mile away. Como has a lot of diversity it terms of architectural styles in the area. There are a lot of character homes that were built between 1880 and 1950. The styles include: Arts and Crafts, Tudor cottages, Victorian cottages, Second Empire and Gothic Revival. There are also areas of new single-family homes and duplexes in the neighborhood.
