Falcon Heights Minnesota Real Estate

Falcon Heights is a Minnesota city located in the first-ring of suburbs in the Twin Cities. Though it is home to 5,000 residents, Falcon Heights has a vibrant community. Most of real estate in the city is comprised of the Minnesota State Fair Grounds and University of Minnesota - St. Paul campus.  At the end of August, this area is brimming with visitors from all over the state who come to visit the annual Minnesota State Fair. The university’s 18-hole golf course and agricultural programs take up several acres of land. The rest of the land is mostly residential with some industrial use.

Despite the town having a university that draws in college-aged residents, Falcon Heights is very family-friendly with over one-third of households having children under the age of 18. The streets are lined with trees which gives this area a very "all-American" feel. The abundance of open fields around the University of Minnesota helps give Falcon Heights a rural feel compared to many other Twin Cities suburbs. Falcon Heights is very accommodating to both bikers and pedestrians, and also has great access to public transportation. The city is also right by major Minnesota highways, which makes accessing the whole of the Twin Cities even easier.
