Field Minneapolis Real Estate

The Field neighborhood is in the Nokomis Community of Minneapolis. It’s bounded by I-35W, Minnehaha Parkway, Chicago Avenue, and 46th Street East. This neighborhood got its namesake after Eugene Field, a man who wrote children’s poetry. The business community within Field is prosperous and thriving, with most of the shops and restaurants found on Chicago Avenue.

The Field neighborhood is filled with a variety of housing types. The residential properties sprouted up in two different phases, one in the 1920s and 1930s, the other just after World War II ended. The architectural styles found here are Tudor style homes with the use of stucco and shorter one story or 1.5 story homes built with brick or brick accents.
