Holland Minneapolis Real Estate

Holland is a Minneapolis neighborhood located within the Northeast Community. Because this neighborhood is par of the NE Minneapolis Arts District, it is home to many artists. It extends from 27th Avenue NE on the North to 17th and 19th Avenues to the South and between Central and University Avenues. The area has many moderately priced homes, along with areas of commercial activity, specifically University Avenue, Lowry Avenue and Central Avenue.

This neighborhood is mostly residential, with more than three quarters of the homes built before 1920. The homes in the area are mostly Bungalows, which are typically two-story or 1.5 story homes.

Holland Minneapolis Neighborhood Information

The Holland neighborhood gets its name from Josiah G. Holland, a teacher and editor in the 1800's.  The neighborhood is home to about 3,500 people who likely chose the location because it is a little north of the Downtown Hub, but still close enough to all that Downtown Minneapolis has to offer.
