Lind Bohanon Minneapolis Real Estate
Within the greater Camden Community of Minneapolis is the Lind-Bohanon neighborhood. Lind-Bohanon is surrounded by the Mississippi River, 53rd Avenue North and Humboldt Avenue North. Lind-Bohanon is only spread out over a bit more than 500 acres and is less than one square mile; this community has a very small town atmosphere to it, with the residents priding themselves on knowing one another and being active in their community.Â
Along the banks of the Mississippi River is the North Mississippi Regional park. This park connects the neighborhood to the trails of the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway as well as the Anoka County parks and walking/biking paths.
This neighborhood is mostly comprised of single-family housing that is owner occupied. Most of the homes are modest one story or 1.5 story properties.

Lind Bohanon Minneapolis Neighborhood Information
The neighborhood was named for Jenny Lind, a famous Swedish soprano born in the first half of the 19th century. The area underwent a pretty substantial revitalization recently, with over 200 World War II homes and businesses getting demolished to build new, sound structures for families to live in and businesses to operate out of; this change gave the community a much needed face lift which has helped it continue to thrive as a place to live.
