The neighborhood of Lowry Hill is located west of downtown Minneapolis and is a member of the greater Calhoun-Isles Community. The neighborhood is surrounded by Logan Avenue and Morgan Avenue, 22nd Street, Interstate 94/Hennepin Avenue, Interstate 394 and Lake of the Isles Parkway. Thomas Lowry was one of the original residents and early developers of this area, which is where this neighborhood gets its namesake.
This neighborhood is one of the most popular areas in the state, with the beloved green space of Loring Park nearby, as well as The Walker Art Center and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. This area has a thriving artistic community and has plenty of energy in the area year round. It is also so close to the nightlife and offerings of downtown Minneapolis.
