Mckinley Minneapolis Neighborhood Information

The neighborhood was named for President William McKinley, one of the presidents of the United States during the time when this neighborhood was first developed. McKinley is a relaxed Minneapolis neighborhood by the Mississippi River. Though it is not as close to the downtown area as some Minneapolis neighborhoods, this makes this area less congested; even so, downtown is still only minutes away, making both work and play very accessible to all Mckinley residents.Â
