New Market / Elko Minnesota Real Estate

As of January 1, 2007, Elko and New Market became Elko New Market, with a combined population of about 4,000 people.  The new small town of Elko New Market on the southern edge of the Twin Cities provides a great place to live, work, and play. Its proximity to the Twin Cities makes commuting to work in Minneapolis and St. Paul a relatively easy task, while at the same time is far enough away to have a calmer atmosphere than the rest of the metro.  Because Elko New Market is not yet built up, lots could be as large as a 10-acre parcel of rolling hills or an older home built closer to the center of town on an average sized lot.  The small town of Elko New Market is bound to grow as the Twin Cities metropolitan area continues to expand.
