North Loop Minneapolis Real Estate
The North Loop neighborhood is predictably north of downtown Minneapolis and is a member of the greater Central Community. The North Loop area is the top portion of the loop that encircles the downtown area. The neighborhood is surrounded by Hennepin Avenue, Washington Avenue, Plymouth, 12th Street North, Interstate 394, Interstate 94 and Third Avenue North.
This area has recently been revitalized, adding new residential space, entertainment venues and places to eat all in the past couple decades. The area is often known as the "Warehouse District" for all the industrial buildings that stand there; many have been converted into loft or condo spaces, or been repurposed as restaurants or other commercial enterprises. The neighborhood is just next to the downtown area, making the whole of Minneapolis readily accessible.
The home of the Minnesota Twins, Target Field, is also located here.
