Summit Hill - Crocus Hill Neighborhood of St. Paul
Crocus Hill Homes for Sale
Located slightly southwest of Downtown Saint Paul, real estate in Summit Hill offers condos and homes for sale in a well-established and historic neighborhood. The neighborhood is known as Crocus Hill by the locals and contains some of the most expensive real estate in St Paul. The Governor's Mansion can be found on Summit Avenue, one of Minnesota's most famous homes. One of the most iconic buildings in all of the Twin Cities, the Cathedral of St. Paul, constructed from 1906 to 1915, can also be found on Summit Avenue.
Many of the homes were built between the 1860s and the 1920s in Italianate, Georgian Revival, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, Tudor, Shingle and Row House styles. These homes have so much character, charm and history they offer buyers a unique chance to own a piece of Minnesota history. Little construction has happened in Summit Hill since then, but if you’re looking for something smaller some homes have converted into duplexes or apartment buildings.
