The neighborhood of Windom Park is located in Minneapolis within the greater Northeast Community. The area is surrounded by Lowry Avenue Northeast, New Brighton Boulevard, 18th Avenue Northeast and Central Avenue. The Windom Park neighborhood was named after William Windom, who served as a United States Senator for Minnesota.

Windom Park is primarily a residential neighborhood. Central Avenue, Windom Park's western border, does have a lively commercial district, though. Windom Northeast Recreation Center, Pillsbury School, and a recreational space also named Windom Park are available for residents to use.
